Brafick - I agree, ago is just ago -as in a long time ago. It's not what I'd expect for the WI - I'm going to! Probably should be A-Go or ah-go as in ah-go tell mommy on yuh.

why would jumbie means jump in Creole, please dont spread false information. i guess the person was asking about "ZONBI", which is a very popular practice in Haitian VODOU. thats a very complex thing that i cant elaborate on here so please look it up on google, try ZONBI or ZOMBI or HAITIAN ZONBI

could you edit this definition to exclude the seasoning"HEAVILY with SALT"? it makes Trinibagonian cuisine seem highly geared towards hypertension and and not our unique flavour

Jamaican Blue Drawers, Duckunoo, or Tie Leaf are the names that are given to this boiled pudding of West African origin. Jamaicans are very fond of this starchy, green banana-based boiled pudding, which is enjoyed as a snack or dessert.

Amerindian were all over the Caribbean, North-, Latin America, and South America. That's why it's called America. The Caribbean got its name from the Caribs that lived there. In Latin -, North America and the Caribbean islands they could not really keep their cultures because they couldn't really fight of the whites but in Guyana and Suriname they could hide in the forest and keep theirs.
